British car manufacturer McLaren has confirmed that its partnership with OnePlus has reached a “strategic end” in what could mean the end of OnePlus’ McLaren branding. “Since the launch of the partnership in 2018, OnePlus has been supportive and supportive,” McLaren said in a statement issued to the Android Authority, adding, “We wish them well and hopefully see them again in the future.”OnePlus’s partnership with McLaren has resulted in a number of hands-free releases, often offered with unique designs and high specs and price tags compared to other handset setups. Last year’s McLaren Edition for OnePlus 7T Pro, for example, comes with a black color scheme and oranges and 12GB instead of 8GB of RAM. Last year, OnePlus announced a McLaren-branded 6T model. The partnership has redesigned the Concept One smartphone, which was unveiled by OnePlus at CES this year. And including a leather strap on the back of the app, OnePlus said the disappearing camera technology was enhanced by an electrochromic roof on the McLaren 720S.Rumors of the end of the partnership began appearing last week after the OnePlus logo disappeared from the list of McLaren partners on its website. The end of the partnership means you should not catch your breath of the McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 8T one but it is inevitable later this year. That said, we wouldn’t put it past OnePlus to have a previously refurbished front handle for making its sleeve.
