In order to gain a deeper understanding of the topic, we also explored educational websites available on the internet. These websites provided us with a wealth of information, allowing us to gather more data for our project. We carefully organized all the collected information into key points and incorporated them into our project. Based on the information gathered, we made observations, conducted analysis, and drew conclusions for our project. It is important to document these findings to raise awareness about the severity of water pollution and to encourage actions to mitigate its impact on our environment. By understanding the causes and consequences of water pollution, we can work towards finding effective solutions to protect our water resources and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
Natural causes of water pollution
- Excessive rainfall can indeed contribute to water pollution. When there is heavy rainfall, rivers and other bodies of water can exceed their normal capacity. As a result, the excess water carries with it dust, dirt, garbage, and other waste materials from the land, which then contaminate the water.
- Another factor that can lead to water pollution is the decomposition of organic matter. Decomposition is a natural process where organisms break down, releasing bacteria and viruses into the environment.
